Cease resistance; abandon control of your life entirely, and come into complete submission to God. That’s what it means to surrender. When Y’shua returns, some of you will be like Him. And for that transformation to occur, it requires that you surrender your ego and practice preferring others. Pray this without ceasing: “I am not the center of the universe, nor do I need to be the center of attention. My focus is God first, others next, and only then will I consider myself. I am important only inasmuch as I am in service to God by using what gifts and talents He has placed within me. My life will emulate the life of my blessed Savior, ‘I can of myself do nothing’”. Whoever won’t regard the needs of others over their own needs simply won’t become like Him.
