Cease resistance; abandon control of your life entirely, and come into complete submission to God. That’s what it means to surrender. When Y’shua returns, some of you will be like Him. And for that transformation to occur, it requires that you surrender your need for explanations and practice acceptance with joy. Pray this without ceasing: “God, I stand before You today and confess that You do not owe me a reason for why You do anything. I know that Your thoughts, Your plans, and Your ways are on a need-to-know basis, and most often they are beyond my need to know. So, I no longer need to understand Your methods nor Your motives.
Today, I welcome whatever You have for me with joy in my heart, even if You have not revealed why things are the way they are. I will no longer depend on my own understanding; and instead, at times when I just can’t reason why things are the way they are, I will acknowledge that You are God and I am not!” Whoever won’t surrender their need for explanations and instead practice acceptance with joy simply won’t become like Him.
