Cease resistance; abandon control of your life entirely, and come into complete submission to God. That’s what it means to surrender. When Y’shua returns, some of you will be like Him. And for that transformation to occur, it requires that you surrender making excuses and practice taking responsibility.
Pray this without ceasing: “God, I will cease from rationalizing and from offering reasons for my or another’s wrongful deeds, unacceptable behavior, or lack of follow-through. I will no longer seek to defend or justify my disobedience, faults, offenses, and ungodly beliefs—or attempt to lessen their significance, as everything is known by You, oh Yahweh. Today, I become accountable for my own actions and choices; and I will hold others accountable for their actions and choices as well.” Whoever won’t surrender making excuses and practice taking responsibility, simply won’t become like Him.
