2020-04-17 | Leviticus 12-15 | (DOUBLE) Issues of Blood
Y’shua healed a woman who had an ‘issue of blood’ for 12 years, as she boldly grabbed His outer garment. But, just before that He is begged to come save a 12 year old girl. He appears unconcerned as He walks on. Soon after, the girl’s father is told to no longer bother the Master as she has already died. At the news, again, Y’shua appears unalarmed and calmly says, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” As He comes into her home full of weeping loved ones, He is ridiculed for words that reflect His apparent ignorance, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” The miracle follows; “Little girl, arise.” What has often intrigued me is the intersection of these two miracles, especially the common thread of 12 years. “For I am the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 2020-03-27 | Leviticus 1-6 | Sins and Salt
When you are alone, do you ever try to convince yourself that your sin is okay? Do you simply count on Yahweh’s unconditional forgiveness as a “get out of jail free card” no matter how you choose to live your life? Not every offering you make to Yahweh is acceptable and it takes a true and committed disciple of Christ to know the difference. Are you ready for the high calling?

“For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.” Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.” For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.”

2020-03-13 | Exodus 30-34 | Forty Days Too Many
Is waiting forty days too many? What is your spiritual MO (mode of operation) when Yahweh does not jump to attention when you need something? Do you throw a tantrum like a five year old? Do you turn to self-reliance? Do you jump out ahead of the Almighty? Might you even turned to “other gods”? Become equipped to wait on Yahweh’s perfect timing.
