In today’s world If you were to ask any Christian, “What is an ambassador for Christ”? What types of answers do you think you would get? Some might give answers referencing the history of the Crusades or perhaps prominent figures in the Protestant Reformation. Make no mistake there are probably hundreds of correct answers to this question. Now ask yourself, do you meet that definition? Whatever it might be. Maybe for some, a better question might be “Do you desire to be, an ambassador for Christ?”
Christians should and need to have a deep burning, passionate desire to bring souls to the Lord. After-all, how could you not? Paul writes know then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. If you can put a check in the box that you are this type of Christian, there is an unfortunate and harsh reality we must understand to its fullest. The first side of the coin is the conversion (Heart Change) of an individual to a believer is a work entirely done by the Holy Spirit and not of yourself, The other side of the coin or perhaps the dark side, is once the human element creeps into our passion and our own selfish desires instead of waiting on the power of God in good faith, we have the ability to turn away the hearts of individuals as well. You don’t have look or think very hard to know what I’m talking about here. You see it in the church everywhere. From organized religious entity’s, down to the singular believer not walking the walk.
Particularly, in the way we conduct ourselves in society (look, think, speak, Act). Now make no mistake, God will always reach who he needs to reach but we need to understand that the way we conduct ourselves and communicate can be the difference between someone getting it slowly and progressively as you nurture their spirit in your word and actions, or someone ignoring the Spirit completely and proceeding in shutting them down for the next decade or even longer by their human element let’s say. With all this said there is many criteria for an ambassador for Christ, one of which is that is that you need to be usable. I say useable because it is critical that you always listen and obey the spirit and not to let your emotions get the better of you. The key point for this teaching is the term Meek but not as you have heard it before. In old English the term was used for training wild mustangs for battle. The goal here was not to tame them but to specifically harness nature hardened toughness that these animals have and used them as amazing military assets at the time. What made them effective you might ask? They would do whatever the master said with their same fearless nature that they demonstrated out in the wild. When you tie that into being an ambassador for Christ, I can summarize this in a single sentence credited to my Senior Drill Instructor from basic training. “You will conform, you will be disciplined, you will have instant, willingness and obedience to orders.”

God did not create the world to be without form and void, yet already within the very first book of the Bible in the very first chapter illustrated for us in the second verse it says that the earth came to be without form and void shortly after its inception!
We know that God created the Earth with one goal in mind: To share His Eternal Glory with His creation. He created the Heavens and the Earth as two separate domains of perfection that were intended to interact with each other harmoniously forever. The perfectly balanced and opposing forces cause a perpetual holiness engine that provides a continuous flow of positive energy (i.e. Blessings) from which the whole Universe is designed to be Eternally sustained. Man fell, God intervened by sending us His son, His son initiated the first step toward getting the machinery of the Universe back into working order, and now it is up to us to finish the job!

Young Disciple Series Notes | Young Disciple Series Video
If today was your last day, and tomorrow was too late, could you say goodbye to yesterday? How would it hit you, if you got that kind of news? What would you do? Skydiving? Rocky mountain climbing? 2.7 seconds on a bull named Fumanchu? Would you love deeper? Speak sweeter? Or give the forgiveness that you’ve been denying?
If Jesus revealed to you that shortly you must put off your earthly tent, that you have finished your race and it is time to come home. What would you do? Who would you tell? What would you tell them? What would you leave behind?

I believe Solomon, being all wise, documents the proverbs in such a way that it almost appears as a journal or a form of notes. It makes sense regarding the riddles and sayings as if he’s reminding himself of the tools to stay on the path of righteousness. Not only for himself but Solomon has this deep urge fueled from a burning desire to help navigate the minds and spirits of those around him, before him (elders), and especially those who will come after him. Because Solomon has the ability to see and hear meanings of many deep things it would be safe to assume that naturally he wants to share insight and teach what he learns for himself with others. Wouldn’t it be selfish if otherwise? We see in the section prior that the introduction to proverbs are literal instructions for how to acquire the same sense of understanding as he had.

As a leader in TLT, Isaac Hoza gives a strong testimony and lays the groundwork for future teachings on obedience in our lives. Isaac focuses on 4 Points of being called to a new level of obedience:
- Willful Sin
- Being obedient in God’s calling in life.
- Spending time with God
- Fasting
Isaac’s version of a Jon Tyson quote, “I need to hear the “whispers” of God before dealing with the “screams” of my children.”

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails.
But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” I Corinthians 13:1-13 NKJV
